By accessing our website and booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

• Achill Isle Walks is a hillwalking tour and adventure company based in Ireland, providing guided hillwalking experiences.
• By booking a tour or event with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
• We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, and any changes will be posted on our website.

Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be made through our website or via authorised representatives.
• Full payment or a deposit (as specified) is required to confirm your booking.
• Prices are listed in Euro (€) and may be subject to change without notice.
• We reserve the right to refuse bookings at our discretion

Cancellations and Refunds

• Please refer to our separate Cancellation Policy for details on cancellations, refunds, and rebooking conditions.
• Our Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms and Conditions.

Participant Responsibilities

• All participants must be physically fit and have an appropriate level of experience for the chosen activity
• Participants must wear suitable clothing and footwear for hillwalking.
• It is the responsibility of the participant to inform us of any medical conditions or physical limitations that may affect their ability to take part.
• Participants must follow the instructions of our guides at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal from the activity without a refund.

Liability and Safety

• Hillwalking involves risks, including but not limited to, injury and death, adverse weather, and terrain hazards. Participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
• We are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property unless caused by our negligence.
• We strongly recommend that participants obtain travel and activity insurance.

Weather Policy

• Activities will proceed in most weather conditions, except in cases of extreme weather where safety may be compromised.
• If we cancel an activity due to severe weather, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.

Privacy and Data Protection

• We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with GDPR and Irish data protection laws.
• We only collect personal information necessary for bookings and do not share it with third parties without consent.

Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Irish law.

Prohibited Activities

Participants must not engage in any behavior or activities that:

• Pose a risk to their safety or the safety of others.
• Damage the natural environment, wildlife, or property during the activity.
• Violate local laws or regulations.
• Disrupt the group’s experience, including inappropriate, offensive, or aggressive behaviour.
• Contradict the safety guidelines provided by Achill Isle Walks staff.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the activity without a refund.

We may provide you areas on the services to leave reviews or ratings. When posting or review you must comply with the following criteria:

• You should have first hand experience with the person entity being reviewed
• Your reviews should not contain offensive profanity or abusive racist offensive or hateful language
• your reviews should not contain discriminatory references based on religion race gender national origin age marital status sexual orientation or disability
• your reviews should not contain references to illegal activity
• you should not be affiliated with competitors if posting negative reviews 6 you should not make any conclusions as to the legality of conduct
• you may not post any false or misleading statements
• you may not organise a campaign encouraging others to post reviews whether positive or negative.
• We may accept, reject or remove reviews at our sole discretion.
• We have absolutely no obligation to screen reviews or to delete reviews even if anyone considers reviews objectional or inaccurate.
